This field is a multi-purpose field. It is used to specify:
- the Audiotex Module
ID or the Attendant ID if Box Status is Audiotex or Attendant,
- Attendant Id to use for transfer during mailbox greeting (Option 4),
- Attendant Ids that this mailbox is authorized to edit, or
-
Box attributes (e.g. ‘BRS’=Browse, ‘NMF’=New Messages First; ‘DTF’=Date & Time First).
A single code or combination of 2 or more codes can be placed in the field as a string (e.g. NMF DTF EXT101).
Values/Attributes | Description |
Audiotex Module Number or Attendant Id Number | MUST BE the first attribute in this field if mailbox Type is set to Audiotex or Attendant. |
attid | Allows this mailbox to edit the attendant record specified via the Set Personal Options (Mailbox Main Menu Option 3) |
ASM | Auto Saves Messages during message review when caller enters 6 to review next message. |
APM | Auto Play Message assumes the caller pressed 1 to start message review process. |
BRS | Lets callers only browse new messages in the mailbox without
requiring a password. Callers can review new messages but not Save,
Delete, or Forward messages. They cannot access personal options or Send
messages. The Browser can use all the review buttons - Previous, Next,
Repeat, Pause, Rewind, FF, Time/Date, Reply, Review first message,
Review last message. A Browse user does not reset any notification in
progress for that mailbox when they log in to browse. If the box has no
messages, it will just say so and return versus giving the user options.
Prompts 310 an 311 are used for Browse mailboxes. Prompt #310 BROWSE INSTRUCTIONS – to be recorded by the administrator. e.g. ‘Browse instructions... Press star to repeat these instructions.’ Prompt #311 BROWSE REVIEW ‘Press 4 to play the previous message, 5 to play this message again, 6 to play the next message, * for more options or # to exit review’. The mailbox owner can log in to a Browse mailbox by pressing ‘*’, then the password followed by ‘*’, while hearing Prompt 310. Once logged in, the owner has full mailbox capabilities including deleting, saving, copying, & forwarding messages. |
DAR | Don’t Announce Recipient. CALLMaster will just start playing messages when notification call is answered, eliminating need to enter password. |
DTF | Plays the Date, Time and Sender of a message first before the message is played back. |
EXTattid | Allows caller to be transferred using the attendant record specified (attid) by pressing 4 during mailbox greeting. LLM activates ‘Leave Msg’ Menu option for this mailbox. This code controls whether someone leaving a message will be given the opportunity to accept, replay, redo (or append to) their message (prompt 3). Messages left will be saved either way, unless the caller (or the phone system) presses pound (#). |
NEML | No Exclusive Mailbox Log In. The default is yes. |
NER | Activates No Envelop Replay if caller enters 4 during message review. |
NGN | No Greeting and Name recorded during initial mailbox log in. |
NMF | Plays the Newest Message First, instead of the oldest first. NMF is the default. |
NMR | No Mailbox Request. If mailbox login fails, suppress mailbox request for login retry. |
NOFAX | Indicates that this mailbox is not eligible for inbound faxes. |
NRE | Will reset notification schedule, starting notification from notification record number 1 if new message received while notification schedule still processing previous call. Only applicable if you have multiple notification records per mailbox. |
NSD | No Seconds for message length played during message date and time. Only applicable when using DTF |
OMF | Plays the Oldest Message First, instead of the newest first. NMF is the default. |
OTE | Used to enable Outbound Transfers for the individual mailbox. |
OTTB<port-range> | Used for Outbound Transfers where port range is the ports to use for the bridged call. See Bridged attendant transfers for details. |
OTT3<3waystring> | Used for Outbound Transfers where 3way string is used to create and drop a 3way call. |
OTPS | Used for Outbound Transfers as the Outbound Transfer Prefix Dial string. |
OTSS | Used for Outbound Transfers as the Outbound Transfer Suffix Dial string. |
TST | Used for DID trunks. CALLMaster will play prompt 401 to denote no messages in the mailbox. |
TZ<offset> | Supports users in different time zones to get their "message received" time stamp reported in the time zone designated. The <timeZOne offset> determines the +(Plus) or – (Minus) hours for the message envelope's time received. e.g. TZ3(or TZ+3),TZ-2. The + (plus sign) is optional, the - (minus sign) is required. So setting TZ-2 will report a time 2 hours earlier than the system time when a message time stamp is played. |
UL3 | Restricts mailbox to only the first 3 choices of Set Personal Options (i.e. “Change password, Record Greeting and Record Name”) |
